for the words

I grasp for words

in my mind

in books

that I have written 

simply

to contain

the memories of him

searching

endlessly for litany, letters, languages,

to somehow describe

what I feel 

in each moment 

of knowing him

wanting him

seeing him

feeling him

loving him 

I am at a loss 

for the words

that can own this

in its most perfect sense
