Mind Words

I wonder if you want

The same things that I do

If you think about

What I hide in these words

If you see in your mind

My thoughts played out against

The backdrop of that bed

If you see these legs

Bent at the knees parted with a please

At the column of my throat

Waiting for you to know

Before I say it, that I want to play it

By ear and see what happens

See what's after the shy hello, and nervous laughter

I wonder if you know that in your absence I'm often open against my own intent

If you know I've said your name though we've never met

In the dark with my eyes closed your name has graced my throat

Climbed high and slow

Sweet and wet on this mouth

Now...now..now..

How I long for you, how I ache

How the tightness needs to break at your base,

How all I want is you here now in this hollow space

Take, please don't wait for me to offer you a taste

Be greedy, need me now like this

Bare blank flesh waiting for your pen

Write your stories in places only you can see, soft inside the rest of me

I wonder if you want me, if my name has danced on that tongue a whisper

While you have that one  moment to yourself with your self hot in your hand,

Head hung heavy with thoughts of me

Warm, wonton, waiting for release

I wonder if you  empty of your want and let my name be full in your mouth, head thrown back, As your spine contracts, knees go lax, that, that, that... Hard and fast

Last few thoughts across your mind as you find that you

Wonder about me too
